Volunteer Opportunity - Area M Special Olympics

We are excited to announce that we will once again be volunteering for the 2017 Special Olympics PA - Area M Games! These will be held at Messiah College on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 8am to 2:30pn.

It is expected that over 1,000 Special Olympic Athletes will participate from around the area, and there will be a need for over 2,000 volunteers to make this event a success! Please join us in supporting this wonderful event!

A few important points to consider:

- Volunteers must create an account at the following website:

- Please plan to register as soon as possible, as volunteer positions will be filled on a first come first served basis.
- Any positions involving working with minors will require certain child abuse clearances, so anyone requesting to work as a buddy will need to fill out a child abuse clearance form
- You must be available for the entire duration of the event from 8AM to 2:30PM
- There is a T-Shirt that must be worn to differentiate volunteer staff the day of the event. T-Shirts cost $5
